Os castelos reais de Neuschwanstein e Linderhof

Kelly W., USA
Our tour guides were fantastic! The scenery was perfect. Online it said we would return to Munich at 8:30pm. We returned around 6:30pm. I would have preferred to have those two hours in one of the amazing places we visited. I felt rushed.

Ivone P., Portugal
I've already booked my trips to Amesterdam and I was very satisfied.

Vicky J., New Zealand
I would thoroughly recommend this tour. Our guide ***was knowledgeable and personable making the trip very interesting. Loved it all.

Sari K., Finland
It was easy to make recervation for the quided tour and if you have to ask somthing you get quickly answers.

Astrid Elise H., Norway
We had a great trip to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein! The bus was comfortable, and they sold hot and cold beverages onboard. We had plenty of time at each stop, and the guide told us interesting stories about Ludwig II and Bavaria during the trip. I will definitely recommend this trip if you go to Munich!

Bonnie W., USA
Once again we had a great travel experience because of the service given.

Joanna F., United Kingdom
The day started off pretty early at 8.30am in the morning as the tour is packed to a tight schedule. The first stop was at Linderhof Castle where we got to take a few pictures quickly and were treated to the fountain being switched on before going into the Palace for our guided tour but as soon as it finished we literally had to go back to the coach which meant we didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked but the interior of the Palace is beautiful, but there is strictly no photography allowed. The next stop on the trip was to the little village of Oberammergau which is famous for putting on the play "The Passion of Christ!" and at the top of one of the mountains you can see a cross. This is a quick 30 minute stopover to stretch your legs and buy souvenirs from the little shops before heading back to the coach and preparing for our remainder of the journey to Neuschwanstein Castle. Along the way, it is very picturesque and scenic, as you gradually come towards the village of Fussen, you can see the castle if you are sitting on the left, and at first glance it takes your breath away. Once you arrive, you have the option to either walk to the top, catch a bus or ride a horse and carriage which is a lovely option if you prepare your time carefully. The tours inside the castle are set to a specific time so you have to give yourself enough time to get to the top of the castle in time for your tour. The views at the top are stunning and there is a little platform ridge where you can take pictures of the castle. The inside of the castle itself is quite darkly decorated with dark coloured wood. The outside is literally the star of the show, you've never seen a castle, till you've seen Neuschwanstein, the outside is breathtakingly stunning. Absolutely beautiful. The Marienbrucke bridge was closed for maintenance and cannot been seen until you are inside the castle. As you walk up to the castle, you can see signs how to get to the bridge but it is closed off. The guide we had said it should be reopened in November 2016 and that they close the bridge every 10 years for maintenance. Overall this was a great trip and I would thoroughly recommend it, however if you want to spend a lot of time without rushing, you might need to hire a car or find someone who can take you so you can take your time as it is definitely a trip of a lifetime.

Beautiful trip..good value for your money! No problem booking on line!!

one of the more popular day trips, bus left at 8am even though it was scheduled for 830 so not sure if there were extra buses as it was busy season during Oktoberfest. Linderhof was nice but a bit rushed. would be nice to have an extra 20 mins to spend time on the grounds and see the grotto. Neuschwanstein is only about a 30 min tour but we had a long 2 hour window waiting for our timeslot. they could maybe use extra time at linderhof here. otherwise a great day trip.

Joanna F., United Kingdom
Booking my trip was very easy and straight forward, with no complications at all. Confirmation was sent straight away so I had peace of mind everything was booked and sorted.

Tour Hop On Hop Off Grand Value Munique

Bonnie W., USA
Once again the staff were great. The timing for each stop was appropriate, and we appreciated the opportunities to see something without having to rush.

Claire C., Australia
The web site was easy to get around and the booking process quick and easy.n

Ken M., USA
The tour gives you additional information about Munich. I would book it if you are a tourist and a good value. It gives you a good indication of where to walk to for sightseeing after the tour is over.

Biswajit J., Australia
OK to take this, but the bus frequency was very poor, one every hour for the outer circle.

Yasir K., United Arab Emirates
Loved it

Richard M., Canada
The tour drop off places were wonderful! We were disappointed with the sometimes over an hour wait for the bus when it was suppose to be every twenty minutes. Also, on the bus, most of the descriptions were totally in German with a brief sentence at the end of a long German explanation of what were were seeing. We expected that whatever was said in German, would be repeated in English. It's a good tour but not for English speaking people!

Leyla W., United Kingdom
Very interesting Guide tour, driver is pretty good finding a way to get through busy traffic. You get to hear a lot about the fairytale king I must say. Overall would say really good value for money. Do it!!

Anonymous, Philippines
Great tour. The young man (tourist guide) spoke good English while the others (women)have to improve on explaining the sights properly as we hardly understood them.

Jo Ann V., Malta
Must do - We loved it

Laila H., Indonesia
We liked it and recommend it

Salzburg e Lake District

Anonymous, Brazil
Lake District is unbelievable wonderful

Colin M., Australia
Despite the rain on the day, which you cannot control, a great trip, capped off by the lake trip that was not affected by the inclement weather. Missing though was no introduction to the Von Trapp family home, which we have since been old it is now a restaurant. Recommend for those interested in the area

Alejo S., Mexico
Salzburg was beautiful and the comments from the guide was very helpful. The tour by the district lake was amazing and we didn't have idea of this part of the tour.

Igor S., United Kingdom
Salzburg is abspulutely impressive. Lake Wolfgangsee enchanting views

Nuno M., Portugal
Very nice trip. Very well organized. We like very much and recomend!!!

Anonymous, USA
Tour guide (Bettina) was very nice but a disappointment. It was hard to hear her comments while on tour. Also, she did not advise that we would not have a chance to use a restroom upon exiting the bus. It made several people very uncomfortable. We love Salzburg and the Lake District -- absolutely beautiful.

Anonymous, Brazil
Fantastic tour!!

Anonymous, Singapore
The cruise on Wolfgangsee was most idyllic and enjoyable.

Kimberly B., USA
The time in Salzburg was the perfect amount of time to see the city. The boat trip was nice but costs extra money. The tour guide was rude to us in the morning - while we tried to make sure we were on the correct bus, he raised his voice and yelled at us while acting annoyed that we were even asking him a question. Tour is in need of a new and more friendly guide. Something is going on with the tour guides and the extra money charged during the tours. We were not given a receipt for the boat tour and we were not told the cost for each ticket. This happened on another tour - we were actually over-charged the price of admission to the salt mines in the Berchtesgaden tour. Probably will not use this tour company again.

Samuel James B., Ireland
everything was so well organised and Charlie tour courrier was great.

Berchtesgaden e Eagle's Nest (Ninho da Águia)

Roberto D., Argentina
Greetings to our guide Magrit, excellent person, and very kindnRegardsn***

Colin M., Australia
Well worth he visit - an amazing project if we forget that this was built for one of the worlds worst.Views from the Eagles Nest were brilliant - we were glad that the Americans did not destroy it. Berchtesgaden was a beautiful old city and perhaps even surpasssed the former

Jon P., USA
Had a great time. The tour guides were very knowledgable and pointed out and provided information on interesting sites along the way. They are very organized and on time. Would use them again.

Karla J., USA
We really enjoyed the Berchtesgaden and Eagle's Nest tour. The tour guide was very good and with clouds coming in they made the decision to go directly to Eagle's Nest first. They made the right decision we had lovely views from the top made more impressive as we watched the clouds and fog roll in as we came down. I also recommend leaving enough time to go through the Document Center the underground tunnels/bunker is worth the admission price alone.

Gerard B., United Kingdom
Highlight of the trip for me personally. Ill happily do it all again. The Tour Guide was excellent as was the coach.

Janice H., USA
The tour was very well organized and the tour guide was excellent.

Stephen L., United Kingdom
A fascinating trip and a great contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. Fantastic views and scenery en route as well as from the Eagle's Nest. The tour was well organised and the tour guide (Ana?) kept us informed, entertained and on time! A final thanks to the dispatcher at Munich for sorting things out for me and my brother after we had lost our booking voucher. Much appreciated and excellent customer service.

Igor S., United Kingdom
Historical place. With wounderfull views. NS-Documentation Center - only for people interested in history

Anonymous, New Zealand
We really enjoyed our day going to the Eagles nest, our guide Bridget was fantastic.

Kevin V., USA
The tour is a must. The ride from Munich Berchtesgaden is as good as the Eagle Nest. Thru out the tour you see the great views of Bavaria and see why Bavaria is the best part of Germany.

Rodovia romântica Rothemburgo e Harburg

Bhagwan N., India

Jane H., Australia
We were left to our own devices after a quick intro to the town by the guide. A wonderful place. Not enough time though... another hour would have been perfect

Colin M., Australia
Thought that the visit to Harburg was a bit ho-hum and the time would be much better spent visiting another of those fascinating old towns along the Romantic Road. Rothenburg was brilliant even with its (not mentioned) past Nazi position history.

Haldun Barış D., Turkey
A typical pretty Bavarian town.

Karla J., USA
The Rothenburg and Harburg day castle was very interesting and gives you a good glimpse at medieval Bavaria. The town of Rothenburg was quaint with some interesting shopping.

Samuel L., USA
The Harburg Castle was great! And the local tour guide was quite entertaining! As for Rothenberg, nice town; but if you have been to Kayersburg or Ricqutir, then it is much of the same thing.

Maria S., Australia
WE enjoyed going to visit the Harburg fortress and then drive along the Romantic Road to Rothenburg. The town has some quaint and very old style German buildings and we loved walking around the town square.

Anonymous, USA
Tour guide was well informed, friendly, and helpful. Transport coaches were clean and in good condition. These are two marvelous, historic sites. We knew less about Harburg before the tour and it exceeded our expectations. You cannot say enough about Rothenburg. It merits a return visit.

Germany holds many treasures and Rothenburg and Harburg are two. Our tour guide was very informative and a great representative for Germany. Germany has a lot to teach in conservation. My husband and I are in awe.

Mark A., USA
Tour guide was excellent!

Munique noturna

Jason N., United Kingdom
A great way to sample Munich at night with a stop off for beer and food at a famous bar. The trip to the top of the Olympic tower was a big higlight for me. Fantastic view. And a nice cocktail in a very nice live music venue was cool to finish the evening off. It is not a night club as such. Got back to drop off at midnight. A good group and well escorted. Great for those who are on their own and perhaps not adventurous to walk around a city at night.

Natalie D., Australia
We only had a small group of 5 which was nice as we could talk to the other people as we were 3. Good food. Enjoyed the tour.

Excursão por Munique num ônibus aberto - bilhete de 48 horas

Alessandra F., Brazil
The tour takes too long to start. We had to wait a lot at first stop. Some buses do not have audio. The grand circle could be integrated to express circle. It is boring to change to another bus and have to wait again for the begining of another tour. But the buses are in good shape and the staff is very friendly. And we had a good surprise when we realized there was a audio in Portuguese. It was great !

City Tour incluindo uma visita Guiada aos estúdios de cinema da Bavaria

The coach tour was informative and the 'Film City' tour was good fun. It was interactive, which is particularly good for children. The tour guide's English was excellent, both on the coach and the guide in the Filmstadt.

site magnifique surtout pour des supporteurs de foot notre guide malgré qu'elle ne parlait pas bien français a été super c'est grâce à elle que cette visite c'est passé à merveille

Gerard B., United Kingdom
A must for any Football Fan. You get 20 minutes inside a Bayern Fan shop but don't be pressured into spending any money as there is 2 Fan Shops located in the center of Munich anyway. Tour Guide was great

Tour circular Hop On Hop Of (com descida e retomada de ônibus) Munique Express

Scott C., USA
This is a great way to see any of the major cities in Germany. We used this tour at Berlin, Munich and Hamburg. All of them are very affordable. The tour guides are very friendly, well-informed and entertaining. There are several different languages available so that you can learn about the city that you're touring. We plan to use this tour the next time we visit Germany!

O castelo Real de Herrenchiesee

Edwin M., Australia
Great palace with excellent commentary from palace guide. Went to the signing room of the 1st German constituition. The other historic island is great for photography. Boat trip was extremely enjoyable in brilliant weather.

Chris W., United Kingdom
Contrary to the information on the web site the cost does not include the guided tour of the castle.

Kah Kay A., Singapore
The royal castle of Herrenchiemsee is a wonderful palace in Bavaria.

Tove B., Norway
This was our second trip from Munich booked through City Discovery and we were once again pleased with the arrangements. Our guides were very competent and spoke both German and English. Traveling in mid October means the weather might change from day to day - and we did have quite a lot of rain, but we got to see the castle and walked around both islands.

Jason N., United Kingdom
A very moving experience. I am very pleased I went and saw this place. Very dignified trip. Essentially you pay for the coach there and back to Munich. You are left to look around the site on your own, which is free to enter. Which is fine as you are briefed before getting off where to go.

Hard Rock Cafe Munique - Almoço ou Jantar

Gerard B., United Kingdom
After a long day of sight seeing in Munich we went to the Hard Rock Café. I'm only 28 but the music was so loud it gave me a thumping headache. The Service was great as was the price. Very Filling Meal but don't make the same mistake I made, go when you are fresh and not kind of tired.
